Milkshake Smoothie Bowl With Chocolate Coating

I love smoothie bowls in the summer! You can make them pretty versatile, they only take a few minutes to prepare and they are super healthy. The frozen fruit also makes them perfect for those hot summer days and gives you a great cool down!

Milkshake Smoothie Bowl With Chocolate Coating – Only 5 Ingredients!

For the Milkshake Smoothie Bowl you only need a few ingredients:

Strawberries: I (almost) always have these already in the freezer. It is best to defrost the strawberries for about 20 minutes before you prepare your smoothie bowl, so that it is easier for your blender to chop the strawberries completely.

If it should go a little faster, you can also defrost them briefly in the microwave. Of course you can also use other berries, such as blueberries!

Coconut yogurt: The coconut yogurt provides the certain creaminess and gives it a particularly delicious taste.

Banana: The banana provides a natural sweetness.

Vanilla extract: I like to use this very much. Already one teaspoon is enough.

Chocolate: Here I always use (vegan) dark chocolate. I also make sure that the cocoa content is relatively high (at least 70%, better even higher!).

Milkshake Smoothie Bowl With Chocolate Coating Instructions

Strawberries, as mentioned above, best to defrost about 20 minutes before. However, if you want it to go faster, then briefly put in the microwave and defrost so that the berries are no longer complete lumps of ice.

Now add the remaining ingredients to the blender: Strawberries, coconut yogurt, banana, vanilla extract. Leave out the chocolate for the time being. Blend everything well until creamy and pour into a bowl.

Melt the chocolate – I actually always do it in the microwave. Then pour over the bowl and put in the fridge for about 2 hours.

Top as desired and enjoy!

Any Toppings

I love toppings and these may not be missing of course. But here you can be very creative. I have kept it this time but simpler and topped the bowl with a few cocoa nibs, some coconut yogurt and berries.
