You definitely have to try this recipe! Once again, it’s extremely simple, but also extremely delicious. Forget your hazelnut cream from the supermarket: this is the best healthy chocolate spread you can have and it’s so quick to make.
The great thing about this homemade hazelnut cream is that it only needs a few ingredients.
These Are the Ingredients You Need for the Vegan Hazelnut Cream:
Hazelnuts, of course, are a must. Just like raw cacao powder, so that it becomes nice and chocolaty.
I also used my beloved coconut sugar as a sugar alternative. You can of course vary here and use whatever you like.
Alternatives here would be, for example, agave syrup or dates. By the way, I have already made a variant with dates. To do this, I first soaked soft dates briefly in hot water and then added them to the mass in the blender.
The date water, by the way, can be used quite well as a liquid, so you save the milk or the plant drink. This variant is also very tasty, but I personally like it best with coconut sugar and a plant drink (preferably vanilla, but that’s not a must). I’ve also tested it with a soy drink which is as well very tasty.
In addition, of course, I let my entire family do a “taste test” and there were all in agreement this time – my preferred variant was also best received here.
The Tastiest Healthy Nutella – This Is How It Works
Preheat the oven to ~ 350 °F (180 °C). Put the hazelnuts in an oven dish and put them in the oven. Leave in the oven for about 10 minutes.
Then place the hazelnuts on a towel. With the help of the towel, now try to free the hazelnuts from their shell. However, the shell does not have to be completely off. It is quite enough if the hazelnuts were roughly taken from the peeling shell.
Then first put the hazelnuts in a blender and grind. Add the raw cacao powder, vanilla extract and coconut blossom sugar (or other sugar alternative) and blend again.
Finally, add the preferred milk. I would prefer to add a little less milk at first so that there is no risk of it becoming too runny.
Transfer from the blender to a bowl or container and you’re done!
