Vegan Snickers Medjool Dates

If you’re in the mood for a sweet snack, these Medjool dates are just right. They are naturally sweet and I love their caramel note. Topped with chocolate and nut butter, they are the perfect snack that you can prepare in no time.

The Simple Snack for in Between 

Medjool dates are excellent to use to fill them. I am generally an absolute date fan, but Medjool dates are always a little highlight for me, because they are not only slightly larger than the conventional dates that you often find in the supermarket, but I also love their consistency and their caramel flavor. 

The only drawback: Medjool dates are not always so easy to find. Often you can only buy them in organic markets or well-stocked supermarkets, but that’s also what always makes them a highlight for me! 

Stuffed Medjool Dates – A Vegan Snickers Alternative

If you feel like something sweet from time to time, you should definitely try these delicious Snickers dates. They also store very well in the refrigerator. Here you can store them for at least one to two weeks! 

The Snickers dates are

  • sweet by nature 
  • gluten- and lactose-free
  • super tasty

Snickers Dates – How To Prepare Them

  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a bowl in the microwave.
  2. Cut the Medjool dates lengthwise and pit them. 
  3. Now fill with peanut butter and 1 to 2 peanuts each. 
  4. Either dip the dates completely in the melted chocolate or top the dates with the chocolate. 
  5. Then place the dates on a plate, cover and place in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. After that you can enjoy them!

Ingredients
 

  • 1.1 oz. dark chocolate 30 g
  • 1.1 oz. peanut butter 30 g
  • 6 peanuts
  • 6 medjool dates

Instructions

  • Melt the dark chocolate in a bowl in the microwave.
  • Cut the Medjool dates lengthwise and pit them.
  • Now fill with peanut butter and 1 to 2 peanuts each.
  • Either dip the dates completely in the melted chocolate or top the dates with the chocolate.
  • Then place the dates on a plate, cover and place in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. After that you can enjoy them!
