Simple and quick, but still healthy and a delicious recipe. Simply a dream! How to prepare the delicious crumble, you will learn in this blog post.

Spekulatius Cookie Crumble – A Delicious Christmas Dessert

As you know, I love to bake. This is probably because I just have a very sweet tooth.

That you can bake quite healthy, I have already shown with some recipes. This does not have to be difficult at all – with conventional ingredients that almost everyone has at home, you come here already very far!

This delicious spekulatius cookie crumble is yet another proof that healthy baking can be easy and quick.

How To Prepare the Spekulatius Cookie Crumble With Berries

Preheat the oven to ~ 350°F (180°C).

Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl: Rolled oats, ground nuts, birch sugar, speculaas spice, salt, and cornstarch.

Then add the vanilla extract, lemon juice and coconut oil (or margarine, depending on your choice) and knead with (freshly washed!) hands.

Put the frozen berries in a baking dish (dimensions: 7.5″ x 10″ (19×25 cm)). Cover with the crumble dough and put it in the oven!

Bake for about 30 minutes. Then let cool briefly and then the crumble can be enjoyed.

The spekulatius cookie crumble is

  • fast & simple
  • a great winter Christmas dessert
  • healthy & delicious
  • vegan & without refined sugar
  • gluten-free

You Can Replace These Ingredients

Birch sugar: Here you are actually quite free. I currently use – in addition to date sweetener – quite like birch sugar. You can find it very easily in the supermarket of your choice and can be used very well for all kinds of dishes.

Ground nuts: If you don’t have any ground nuts on hand, you can also simply grind nuts briefly in a blender. Simply mix on high speed for five to ten seconds and you have ground nuts.

But if you don’t like nuts or maybe you’re allergic, you can just use more rolled oats.
