Peanut Butter Oat Bars
These Peanut Butter Oat Bars are super easy to prepare, vegan and taste just heavenly! The soft bars consist of a base of oatmeal, a caramel-like layer and a chocolate coating.
How To Prepare the Peanut Butter Oat Bars
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- For the base, first mix oat flour, date sweetener, coconut oil as well as peanut butter and some vanilla extract in a bowl and knead into a uniform dough.
- Now pour the dough into a small mold or onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Spread relatively flat on the bottom.
- Now bake for about 8–10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, already mix the second layer. To do this, simply mix peanut butter with a teaspoon of sweetener, e.g. maple syrup.
- When the dough is relatively firm, you can remove it from the oven and let it cool briefly. Now spread with the peanut layer.
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave and then pour over the peanut layer. Now put in the freezer for about 15–30 minutes.
- Then cut into pieces. Done!

Base
- 1/2 (1.8) cup (oz.) oat flour 50 g
- 1.1 oz. date sweetener 30 g
- 0.4 oz. coconut oil 10 g
- 1.1 oz. peanut butter 30 g
- Vanilla extract
First Layer
- 0.5 oz. peanut butter 15 g
- 1 tsp. sweetener, e.g. maple syrup
Second Layer
- 1.4 oz. dark chocolate 40 g
- 1/2 banana
