Healthy Bounties
Homemade bounties in a much healthier version – extremely easy to make and extremely delicious!
Even my family was very enthusiastic about this recipe. “These are almost better than the original!”
Oh yes, I personally find them – of course – even significantly better than the original. The combination of juicy coconut inside and dark chocolate as a coating is a real dream!
In addition, the recipe is prepared super fast. A great alternative to the original!

How Do I Prepare the Healthy Bounties?
- First, mix the creamy coconut milk, shredded coconut, coconut oil, coconut blossom sugar and vanilla extract as well as salt in a bowl.
- Now, either use a granola bar mold – like I did (highly recommended, by the way, if you make your own bars often!) – or simply knead the bars into shape yourself by hand.
- Place in the freezer for one hour.
- Melt chocolate either in a water bath or microwave.
- Take the bars out of the freezer and dip them completely into the melted chocolate. Let dry briefly and they are ready!
- Store in the refrigerator.
The perfect snack for in between!
Due to their high fat content, the healthy bounties keep you well-fed and will also be able to satisfy your sweet tooth. For this you really don’t need candy bars that are pumped full of sugar.
