Vegan Hot Chocolate

This vegan hot chocolate warms you on cold days in the winter time and gets you through the Christmas season wonderfully. It is free of unnecessary additives and ready in 10 minutes!

Enjoy your drinking chocolate relaxing on the couch, maybe with a good book and candlelight. It does not have to be always unhealthy, also vegan and healthy can taste wonderful.

Hot Chocolate in Vegan?! That Works?

Oh yes and how! By the meanwhile enormous selection of vegan milk this works very well. A barista milk (also called super milk), which can be foamed extra well, is particularly suitable here.

If you don’t enjoy the admittedly luxury of a coffee machine, you can of course also foam the milk with a hand frother.

I personally find (vegan) frothed milk especially tasty – sometimes I even spoon it just like that.

The Healthy Variant of Hot Chocolate With Baking Cocoa

By the way, I have been using only baking cocoa as cocoa powder for years now. It has a much more intense taste and is free of unwanted additives. This is a simple trick how to switch from unhealthy to healthy!

With the Spices You Can Let Your Creativity Run Wild

The spices then give the drinking chocolate its very special taste. If you have other spices that go well with it at home, you can of course use them as well. You can also simply leave out spices if you don’t have everything at home.

Which Chocolate Do I Use for My Drinking Chocolate?

I always make sure that the chocolate that is melted has a particularly high cocoa content. I like to use one that has between 70%-90% cocoa content.

These are not only healthier, but I personally think they taste much better! Give it a try.
