What Is the Best Way To Store the Chocolate Energy Balls and How Long Do They Last?

I personally always keep them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. There they last for about 1 week. Of course you can also freeze them. There they will last for about 4 weeks.

The Instructions for Delicious Chocolate Energy Balls

Just put all ingredients in the blender and mix until creamy. It is important here that you use soft dates. If the dates are too hard you have to soak them in hot water for about 30 minutes!

If the dough is a bit too dry, you can add some more water. Start with a little water first, otherwise it will become too liquid afterwards!

The dough is then used to form the little balls. I have sprinkled some coconut flakes on them.

Recipe Equipment

Servings 14 energy balls

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup oats 70 g
  • 1/2 cup soft dates 70 g
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. baking cocoa
  • 1 tbsp. coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1.7 fl. oz. water 50 ml

Instructions

  • Put everything in the blender and blend until creamy. (For "hard" dates you have to soak them in hot water for about 30 minutes before. That's why I recommend to use soft dates to avoid this step)

  • You can also sprinkle them with coconut flakes.
  • And done! The chocolate energy balls can be eaten immediately.
