Form the dough into a ball and wrap in aluminum foil/cling film.
Place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Then preheat the oven to ~ 350 °F (180 °C).
Sprinkle some flour on the cleaned work surface and roll out the dough thinly. You are welcome to top the cookies as you like: I melted dark chocolate and decorated half of the cookies with it. In addition, I sprinkled them with chopped almonds.
Cut out the cookies and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Then bake the cookies for about 8-10 minutes in the oven.
