approx. 6.8fl. oz.plant drinkbarista version (200 ml)
Optional
1/2 tsp.sweetener
Instructions
Bring about 2.7 fl. oz. (80 ml) of water to a boil in a kettle or saucepan.
Put ½ a teaspoon of matcha powder in a bowl and pour it over the water. Stir with a bamboo whisk until the powder is completely dissolved.
Heat the plant milk and, if available, froth it with a milk frother.
Now first transfer the plant drink into a glass (or cup). This is followed by the matcha mixture. And ready! Best enjoyed immediately.
Alternative preparation (without bamboo whisk)
If you don't have a bamboo whisk at home, you can easily prepare your Matcha Latte without one - for example with the help of a milk frother.
First, boil ¼cup of water in a kettle or saucepan.
Then add frothable plant milk to an electric milk frother. Then add ½ a teaspoon of matcha powder.
If you like, add ½ a teaspoon of birch sugar or similar. Now you can froth the whole thing.
Finally, pour the initially boiled water into a cup and add the matcha-milk mixture. Be careful not to use too much water. If you fill the cup with more than a quarter of the water, the end result will be too watery.
